Mountain of Doom

Our slopping backyard is NOT good for riding bikes or trains or cars or wagons or anything that needs to go up. It is GREAT for the slip-n-slide in the summer and fabulous for sledding in the winter.
Unfortunately on this bright and sunny day, Jackson wanted to know why we were inside and not outside sledding. We were actually stuck at home for 7 days while a fever and stomach bug made its way from Kaitlyn to Jackson to Shannon.
Jackson decided he was ready for a little more action other than watching sick people in the house and resorted to extreme measures to recreate our backyard. He took the lid off of a plastic tub we keep in his closet and strategically placed it at the top of the stairs. He slid down, and I feel confident he hit the back of his head on each stair while careening down the Mountain of Doom. After rushing to his aide, he decided to forgo the hugs because he needed to sled down the final 5 stairs. Before taking the lid away and telling him, "NO!" I managed to get a few shots of his unique sled. A+ for creativity when mom is busy tending to Kaitlyn. (Will I still be saying A+ in a few years or will he be grounded?)
